Unlock the brain's safety network
Designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience, the Safe and Sound Protocol is a five day, one-hour a week programme. Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, and based on Porges' Polyvagal Theory, specialised music is used to establish a calm physiological and emotional state, allowing the brain to strengthen it's safety networks for improved communication, and more successful implementation of additional interventions. This is highly recommended as the preliminary intervention.

A research-based intervention, the Safe and Sound Protocol has been demonstrated to show significant results in just five days in the following areas:
  • Social and emotional difficulties
  • Auditory sensitivities
  • Anxiety and trauma related challenges
  • Inattention
  • Stressors that impact social engagement
